Dr. Bassett is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, National Board of Medical Examiners, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Scoliosis Research Society. He has served on the Medical Executive Committee at St Louis Children's Hospital, and as chairman on the by-laws committee of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society. He has participated on the Nominating Committee, served as Treasurer Elect and Treasurer, and is the former Orthopedic Surgeon-in-Chief at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He is fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
