About Sarcasterisk
My approach to illustration and design--that visual messaging must be clear, compelling and effectively reach audiences.
*sarcasterisk represents my art and philosophy for design. In my 14 years as an illustrator and designer, I've welcomed the introduction of technology and adapted to the space of possibilities it opens. I've also observed that as the world embraced the digital age, communication became easier, but in some ways, even more confusing...As more and more people were publishing and expressing themselves online, the risk of misinterpreting messages, and more specifically, emotions, increased.
So, I coined the term "Sarcasterisk," when I began applying the "asterisk" to denote humor in email exchanges. It's a simple solution with broad application, but it caught on with my friends, and truly reflects my personality, as well as my approach to illustration and design
